Exhibition "Regards suisses"

From April 5 to June 29, 2025, the Musée du Pays-d’Enhaut – Swiss Centre for Paper Cutting – invites us to explore an intimate selection of Swiss artworks created between the 19th and 20th centuries.

Each painting shares a common breath: a loving gaze cast upon the world, with delicacy and conviction.
Shaped by their era, influenced by its movements and upheavals, these artists nevertheless chose to remain faithful to one simple truth: beauty is always worth seeking.
Their gesture—precise and inspired—captures more than just faces or landscapes. It conveys a way of dwelling in the real, a feeling, a light.

In this silent face-to-face encounter, something unfolds.
What if their gaze became ours?
If only for a moment, for the space of a heartbeat in the stillness of the museum, we find ourselves in their place—driven by the same desire to see differently.
