The introductory climbing day at the Dalles du Dar, near the Col du Pillon, begins at 9:00 with a welcome by the group, an introduction to the guide and a check of equipment.
At 9.30am, the group heads to the climbing site, which is reached by a short approach walk.
At 10:00 a.m., an introduction to the basics of climbing is given, including a presentation of the equipment, safety instructions and belay techniques.
Participants then take their first steps on the rock, with practical exercises in roping up, belaying a partner and top-roping on routes suitable for beginners.
After a convivial lunch break at the foot of the routes, the afternoon is devoted to exploring new routes, improving climbing and belaying techniques, and a workshop on abseiling techniques.
The day concludes with a return to the starting point and a debriefing, during which participants share their experiences and give advice on how to continue climbing.
